Patna Film Festival

The first edition of the Patna Film Festival took place from 25-27 December 2009. The 11th edition of the festival took place in 2019. Several important filmmakers including Shaji N Karun, Sanjay Kak, Rahul Roy, Saba Dewan, Surabhi Sharma,Anupama Srinivasan, Kundan Shah, Anand Patwardhan, Girish Kasaravalli, Nakul Sawhney, Tarun Bhartiya and Balaka Ghosh have participated in the festival. The films screened at the festival include Campus Rising, Other Song, Shramjeevi Express, Naya Pata, Kuttishrang, MeraRaam Kho Gaya, Eeb Allay Oooand JaaneBhi Do Yaroon.Ashok Bhowmick and Balli Singh Cheema have participated in the festival. Apart from film screenings, other regular features of the festival include book exhibition, painting exhibition and theatre performances.Key organizers of the festival are Santosh Jha, Samta Rai, Kumud Kundan, Suman Kumar and Sudhir Suman
