Bhilai Film Festival

The first Bhilai Film Festival was organized from May 4-5 in the year of 2007. This was followed by the second Bhilai film festival in 2009. Filmmakers M.S.Sathyu and Yousuf Saeed visited the town for the festival. In 2007, the festival team organized an exhibition of 100 artists as part of the festival. In 2009 poets Vinod Kumar Shukla, Viren Dangwal and MangleshDabral participated in the poetry session of the festival. The screening of Garam Hawa and Khayal Darpan were well received.
