Kolkata Film Festival

The first Kolkata Film Festival happened from 20-22 January 2014. The third edition of the festival took place in 2017 and after that it became an independent initiative under Kolkata Film Collective. Anand Patwardhan, Surya Shankar Das and Nakul Sawhney are some of the key filmmakers who have participated in the festival. Several important films including RaamKe Naam and Muzaffarnagar Baki He were screened at the festival. The key organizers of the festival were Kasturi Basu, Dwaypan Banerjee and Poorba Rudra
